Kühl Control

Kühl is the first window air conditioner to match the features and programmability of a complex central air conditioning system. Wire one or more units to a wall thermostat and operate them from a single control. Adjust comfort settings simply by using the arrow buttons on the unit’s LCD control panel or the convenient remote control. Preset Kühl to adjust the room temperature up to 4 times a day using the 7-day programmable thermostat. Kühl can raise the room temperature while you’re out and still have it back to a perfect 72 degrees before you return. And, unlike the competition, Kühl lets you program each day independently. Save energy, money and maintain total control of your environment every day. Kühl control is also evident in the product’s design. Kühl’s engineers developed the unit’s 8 directional louvers to be deeper and more robust to optimize air flow placement within a space. And Kühl features both a fresh-air intake vent and an exhaust vent that give you additional comfort options.

Kühl Quiet

Kühl has been painstakingly engineered for ultra quiet operation. Materials have been chosen because of their sound-absorption properties and every moving part has been braced and insulated. For example, extra-thick rubber grommets absorb motion and noise inside, while steel inner walls and vibration-dampening insulation block outdoor noise. Rugged hardboard side panels help reduce noise and keep out light. We’ve even optimized the way air moves through the unit so that Kühl draws in air through four vents located at different points on the unit, rather than from a single point. This design feature keeps room air well circulated and also contributes to better unit maintenance and quieter operation.

Kühl Efficiency

Kühl is our most environmentally friendly window air conditioner to date. We use non-ozone depleting R410-A refrigerant that meets U.S. government environmental standards. Kühl even meets strict European RoHS standards, which restrict the use of hazardous substances in electronic equipment. In fact, Kühl is up to 20% more efficient than many competitive units, delivering more cooling capacity while using less energy. Being energy efficient is better for the planet as well as your wallet.
